This artwork is a striking exploration of geometric abstraction, divided into three panels, each presenting a harmonious medley of shapes and colors. The left panel features a rich gradient of blues, intersected by bold triangular forms, creating a dynamic sense of depth. The central panel captivates with a radiant yellow sphere intersected by a vivid pink segment, against a backdrop of soft grays, further enriched by diagonal lines adding movement. On the right, warm hues of orange and yellow dominate, anchored by the presence of a muted, circular form subtly rendered. The piece’s vibrant palette and interplay of geometric motifs evoke a sense of balance and motion, inviting viewers to ponder the juxtaposition of color, form, and space. This artwork is a compelling study in contrasts, masterfully balancing simplicity and complexity in a visually arresting composition.

The series Geometric Alphabet is part of my series Geometric Abstract, in which the abstract game is used in the form of asemic writing with geometric shapes. Here Peters recreates her fascination with ancient text in abstraction, to accompany the subtle symbolism of her compositions that evoke the quest.

Neerja Chandna Peters enjoys navigating harmony through the play of lines with their symmetrical synchrony and rhythmic interplay, manipulating the nuances, their saturation and their values, thus creating a subtle movement of optics with their variable refrangibility.

In her compositions, lines and light are not mere aesthetic choices, but act as conduits that lead the viewer into a space of stillness and contemplation. Over time, the artist has come to understand that clarity often lies in reduction. A single color or the movement of a line can evoke a deep resonance when approached with intention.

This practice is as much about process as it is about outcome. It is about finding balance, not just on the canvas, but within. The act of creating becomes a reflection of this alignment, a moment when the finite touches the infinite, and the work itself becomes an offering.
