The sea and sailing still inspire me a lot, I will continue to create new paintings for my “Sailing Spirit” series in 2016… with my sailboats between sky and sea that I have been painting since 2012.

In this series, I wanted to capture the invigorating essence of the sea and the freedom of sailing. Using acrylic and oil colors, I mixed pop art and semi-abstract to evoke an energetic dynamism. The geometric shapes and figures evoke the vigor of racing sailboats, while the explosion of colors conveys the passion and exhilaration of racing.
